1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Pitchford Farms (“we”, “our”, “us”) via our website or direct order.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Products
Pitchford Farms supplies 100% grass-fed beef, including:
- Quarter Beef Packs
- Half Beef Packs
- Other beef products as listed
All products are subject to availability.
As our beef is a natural product, weights and individual cut sizes may vary slightly.
3. Pack Weights & Variations
All pack weights are approximate.
Due to natural variations in livestock and butchering processes:
- Final packaged weight may vary slightly from advertised weights
- Individual cuts may vary in size and number
We make every effort to provide fair and consistent allocations.
4. Customisation Policy
Customisation is available only on Half (60kg) Beef Packs.
Quarter Beef Packs are sold as pre-set selections and cannot be customised.
Customers requesting custom cuts for Half Side Packs must:
- Provide instructions at the time of ordering
- Contact us prior to processing
Once processing has commenced, changes cannot be made.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.
Orders may require:
- Full payment upfront; or
- A deposit with balance due prior to delivery/collection
Orders will not be processed until payment is received as agreed.
6. Delivery & Collection
Delivery and/or collection date will be confirmed within 5 business days of ordering.
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Provide correct contact details
- Ensure someone is available to receive the order at the agreed time
- Provide suitable freezer storage upon receipt
Pitchford Farms is not responsible for product deterioration once delivered or collected.
7. Refunds & Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or returns for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect storage after delivery
- Failure to be present at agreed delivery time
If you believe your order is incorrect or faulty, you must notify us within 24 hours of receiving your product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Food Safety & Storage
All beef is prepared in accordance with Australian food safety standards in partnership with our licensed butcher.
Once received, customers must:
- Refrigerate immediately; or
- Freeze product promptly
We are not responsible for spoilage due to improper handling or storage after delivery.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pitchford Farms is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss arising from improper storage or handling
- Delays caused by events beyond our control
Our liability is limited to the replacement of the product or refund where required under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Privacy
Any personal information collected during ordering is used solely for the purpose of processing your order and communicating with you.
We do not sell or distribute customer information to third parties.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
